Smallwood Festival

In 2007 we held our 31st Smallwood Festival. Lasting through a generation of September Saturdays, it has come to be the signature event for Deer Park Lions Club.We began planning for this year almost as soon as last year's event was over.

If you've never been, you may be wondering what the Smallwood Festival is all about. It's a fall festival. It's a flea market, a crafts show, and an antique mall. It's the biggest yard sale you've ever seen. It's a Saturday trip for the family. There's plenty of good food and entertainment. If you're a vendor, you can expect crowds of 10-12,000. If you're looking for that certain collectable you can shop the hundreds of spaces. Either way you'll have plenty of food choices from Deer Park Lions Club!

If you plan on being a vendor, our generous spaces (22'x24') give you plenty of room to market your wares. Vendors from prior years have until May 31st to reserve their spaces.

The Smallwood Festival has grown so large we've had to move to the Reese Carnival Grounds in order to accomadate the crowds and vendors. That's three miles east of Westminster on Rt 140. This years event was on Saturday, September 8th.
