We had a great day at the Microbrew Festival on Saturday the 29th of September. The weather could not have been any better. After last years rainy day, we were paid back in spades with a sunny, breezy, not-to-hot beauty of a day. The crowd and the vendors all seemed to enjoy themselves, and the better weather brought out more families than we saw the year before. We sold out of hot dogs early, despite sending someone out for more, and we sold all our bratwurst before closing time. The German potato salad on our platters was a big hit- we had several people request orders of potato salad only. That actually ran out about the same time as the hot dogs. If you were there and gave us some of your food dollars, we thank you! Can't say for sure but I would bet we will be back next year..... |
